At Little Toes, we care for children from babies of 0-1 year old, toddlers of 1-2 years, children ages 2-3 years old and children ages 3 years and older. We provide a range of age appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join preschool!

We are a family-run business with a passion to provide exceptional childcare within a home-from-home setting!
We decided to do things a bit differently here at Little Toes Nursery by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and engaging environment, where children can safely explore the world around them as they work towards key developmental milestones.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.

About Our North Muskham Setting
When you visit us here at Little Toes Nursery, you’ll see firsthand what makes us different!
Our setting includes:
- Our garden has a designated space for each age group whilst still allowing children of all ages to see each other and socialise together, we have found this to benefit siblings joining the setting especially.
- All meals are made fresh on-site each day. Pre-school aged children attend weekly forest schools at Little Toes North Muskham where we have chickens and ducks.
- No food play policy due to a rising number in children and families in poverty and unable to afford food. Instead, we purchase foods typically used during messy play and donate them to local food banks.
- The nursery was once the local doctors and many current parents comment on their memories of visiting there as a child.
We are able to offer a wide variety of activities, including gardening, music, dance and more.
Merging Teaching and Childcare
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our setting!
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
What to Expect from Little Toes Nursery
Our mission is to provide the highest quality childcare in Bottesford, if not the world!
As part of our commitment, we provide all of our children with:
- Healthy chef-prepared meals each day that meet dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, etc.
- Flexible hours to accommodate parents with busy schedules.
- The opportunity to explore the surroundings with field trips to Little jacks farm, the local duck pond.
- Events that allow children to learn more about the world around them like emergency services day where fire engines, ambulances and police cars come for a nursery visit and the children can explore them, guest speakers, etc.
- Outdoor play that teaches little ones how to respect Mother Nature and interact with her in a meaningful way.
- A diverse, all-inclusive environment where all cultures and traditions are honoured and respected.
