Little Toes Day Nursery Rooms
Children’s joy and happiness is a big part of their learning. At Little Toes, we encourage them to have fun as a part of their education, with child-led activities which are adapted to their abilities and interests.
0-1 Years
Our baby room is our smallest base room and therefore provides a warm and intimate space for babies to bond with their key person.
Our low child to adult ratio enables us to mirror each child’s routine at home. This provides continuity for both babies and their parents.
Babies have their own private garden that leads from the base room which allows the children to free flow from indoor to outdoor. Our babies also reap the benefits of the outdoors whilst sleeping in our purpose built outdoor sleep area.
0-2 Years

2-3 Years
Little Toes can cater for children between 2 and 3 years of age. The focus of their time with us centres around learning through activities, with a routine that incorporates child-led play, this helps to build up on your child’s ever growing knowledge and curiosity.
We have carefully selected a range of toys and activities which help to promote the children’s coordination, role-play and nurtures their creativity.
We help to encourage your children to start toilet training in this age group. Children are given plenty of encouragement and we verbally tell them which enables each child to feel confident.
3+ Years
Little Toes offers places for children of 3 – 4 years, this is our most lively and by far the loudest group, our pre-school group is full of energetic 3-4 year olds.
Little Toes follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, which is a government requirement for all early years childcare. Our 3 – 4 year olds learn about the world around them by taking part in hands-on activities and experiences, they go out on lots of trips and into the local community, as well as participating in many other events.
This age group is where we guide your children and prepare them for moving into reception and starting their school life.
